For agricultural input testing in China, choose a testing laboratory from the options we provide and tell us what you need tested. Our team in China collects and seals the samples at the factory, then arranges delivery to the laboratory. You can follow each stage in your dashboard and view the laboratory’s report alongside our collection record.
Sample collection
We agree on the sampling method before collection
Tell us if you need samples taken at a particular production stage, from specific locations, or in a specified quantity. You can also provide a sampling method or standard you need us to follow. If you do not have one, we’ll confirm a suitable plan with you and the laboratory you select before collection. Our team collects the samples according to the agreed plan. The collection record shows where, when, and how they were taken, along with photographs of the samples and their seals.

Machinery is the exception. There is little to test in a finished machine. For machinery we can arrange material and coating tests on components, and for most buyers an inspection is the better service.
The USD 299 service fee covers our sample collection and testing coordination. Laboratory charges, sample costs if any, and delivery costs are listed separately in the same invoice before payment.
How laboratory testing is arranged

Choose the laboratory and the tests
Select a laboratory from the list in the request form. Provide the factory name and address, the product, and the tests you need. You can also add your sampling instructions and agreed specification limits.
Review the plan and costs
We confirm the sampling method and timing with you, the factory, and the laboratory. We then send one invoice with separate line items for our service fee and any laboratory, sample, or delivery costs. You pay the total in one payment before the work begins.
We collect and send the samples
After payment, our team collects the samples according to the agreed plan, records and seals them, and arranges delivery to the laboratory.
Follow each stage in your dashboard
We upload the collection record and photographs after sampling. When the samples are sent, we add the courier receipt and tracking details. Once the laboratory issues its report, we add the results to the same request in your dashboard.

What the service includes
Why use Zelenberg for sample collection?
A useful test starts with the right sample, collected on the right day. Tell us your preferred date, and we’ll coordinate it with the factory. Once the sampling time is confirmed, we need to receive your payment at least 48 hours before the samples are collected.
Which tests should I request?
Start with the parameters and limits in the product’s TDS, certificate of analysis (COA), or agreed purchase specifications. Send us the document and tell us which parameters you want tested. The laboratory you select will confirm that it can use the required test methods and will state how much sample it needs. For active ingredient testing, these methods are often HPLC or gas chromatography. Its report will show the measured results for comparison with the specifications agreed with the manufacturer.
What if a result is outside my specification?
We share the laboratory’s report as issued, including that result. You can discuss the next step with the manufacturer. If you need another test, you can submit a new request.
How is this different from Sampling & Delivery?
Sampling & Delivery sends the collected samples to an address you choose. This service sends them to a laboratory selected from our list, follows the testing process, and shares the laboratory’s report in your dashboard.
Costs and timing
What does the service cost?
Our service fee is USD 299. Laboratory fees, sample charges, and delivery costs, where applicable, are added as separate lines to the same invoice. You see and pay the total before work begins.
How soon can you collect the samples?
Tell us your preferred date. We’ll coordinate the sampling time with the factory and laboratory. Payment must reach us at least 48 hours before the samples are collected. We’ll also share the laboratory’s estimated testing time in advance.
Can you collect samples from a factory that is not listed on Zelenberg?
This service is available for factories listed on the Zelenberg marketplace.
When do I pay?
After the sampling plan, date, and costs are confirmed, we send you one itemized invoice. Payment is due at least 48 hours before the scheduled sample collection.
After testing
Can I use the results to register the product in my country?
Registration requirements depend on your destination and the product. If the report is for registration, tell us before testing and share the required methods, laboratory qualifications, and report format. We’ll check these with the laboratory before you approve the work. Acceptance of the report is decided by the relevant authority in your country.
Which countries do you work in?
We arrange sample collection from factories listed on Zelenberg in China. Buyers in other countries can request the service and view each update and document in their dashboard.
